On July 21, Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) organized a high qualification course on “Business models and proposals” as a first module companies within the framework of the program to promote the expansion of Armenian exporting companies.

About 30 founders of the leading Armenian companies, senior and middle managers attended the training.

The aim of the project is to enable Armenian entrepreneurs to develop their export potential, expand their companies’ presence in various geographical areas, increase the consumer market and find ways to enter the international market.

Welcoming the participants of the seminar and speaking about the initiative, Mr Sergey Grigoryan, ANIF Deputy Executive Director noted:

“We have had the idea of such an initiative since the foundation of ANIF. Our goal is to bring the best international experience to Armenia, invite Class A companies and provide Armenian entrepreneurs with the opportunity to communicate with leading experts. The international specialists invited by ANIF have a huge experience in this field. As a result of their work, the already established large structures recorded several times more financial results, attracted a large number of new clients, and, of course, ANIF wanted this knowledge to become available to the business community of Armenia as well”.

Sergey Grigoryan added that such initiatives will be long-lasting, perhaps  ANIF will be presented in new formats, since we intend to ensure the frequency of such events.

International expert, the moderator of the seminar Alexey Veretenov added: “Our cooperation with ANIF began a year and a half ago. We are glad that we have been entrusted with the development of such an important strategic direction for Armenia as export. Currently, Armenia’s export goals are mainly considered to post-Soviet countries, but Armenia has a great potential for entering international markets, for example, countries of Western Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, etc. This is a big challenge, which requires other business management models to overcome. Therefore, we are working on developing new and effective business management models, which will facilitate their access to developed markets”.

Speaking about the seminar program, the international expert, the moderator of the seminar, Michael Ruckman, noted :” We see a huge potential of Armenia in terms of recognition as a manufacturing country and acquiring a serious share in the foreign market. In order to transfer basic and system knowledge, we have developed a business training program consisting of three modules. Today we have successfully completed the first module. We will have 3 more meetings with the participants: “distribution paths and relationship management”, “corporate culture, organizational evolution, brand and communication “modules”.
