ANIF announces the appointment of Isidoro Lucciola to its Board of Directors

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Isidoro Lucciola will join the Board of Directors of the Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF), effective today.

Chief Executive Officer of ANIF David Papazian said: “We are very pleased that Isidoro is joining our Board of Directors. His vast experience in banking coupled with his strong knowledge of the Italian corporate sector will be an invaluable asset for ANIF. We see a significant unrealized potential in cooperation between Armenia and Italian state-owned and private enterprises. We are confident that Isidoro’s extensive knowledge will help turn this potential into reality.”

“In addition to that, Isidoro managed an Italian government-owned entity, almost identical to ANIF and we stand to benefit immeasurably from the immense experience he has accumulated in this role”, added Mr. Papazian.

Mr. Lucciola commented: “I am excited to join ANIF’s Board of Directors with the aim to bring additional competencies to strengthening Armenian’s economic development and helping the rapid transformation process of its economy. I believe that in the long term Armenia will be a safe destination for foreign investments and that it is also a perfect bridge between the European, Eurasian and Middle Eastern markets.”
